QUADS BIRTHDAY PICTURES

Hello Friends,

Please find attached pictures of kids at the birthday celebration. It was the kids day and many people attended to just to appreciate God's miracle in our family. We use the occasion to show video slides of our experience in the US and many were amazed at the love we received from you guys. We cant stop praising God!. We hope to mail to you flash drive containing more pictures and also a video DVD so that you can be part of the party. It was more of a carnival.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABIES!!!

Today is the day that all of our lives changed, for the better. Three ladies from Northlake met Mom for the first time on this morning one year ago. On this afternoon one year ago, Mom went to the hospital and delivered the four beautiful babies we have come to know and love. What has come to pass in between is nothing short of a miracle. God has held us all firmly in the palm of His hand, guiding us and bringing health, happiness, friendship, and strengthened faith for all of us who have encountered this amazing family.

Happy birthday, sweet Alyssa. You are a blessing from God. Independent, sensitive, intuitive and bright, may you continue to grow in God's way.

Happy birthday, lovable Valencia. You are a blessing from God. Perceptive, intelligent, alert and cuddly, may you continue to grow in God's way.

Happy birthday, strong Noah. You are a blessing from God. Willful, intense, soulful and loving, may you continue to grow in God's way.

Happy birthday, lovely Bibiana. You are a blessing from God. Patient, precious, reserved and attentive, may you continue to grow in God's way.

May Update

From left to right, here are Valencia, Noah, Bibiana and Alyssa!

They look so beautiful / handsome and so active! All the babies are doing well. The three girls are crawling very well. Noah crawls also, but not as quickly. Alyssa and Valencia can take a few steps while standing and holding onto something. Bibiana can pull herself up to standing but hasn't tried to take steps yet. Now that they are crawling, things have gotten very demanding for Mom and Dad. Naturally, they all go in different directions! Bath time and meal time are difficult now that they are so active. Mom and Dad have hired two young ladies to assist with the babies and they have been very helpful. However, Mom has not been able to attend church for the last three weeks because there aren't enough hands to bring all the babies!

The babies have mostly been very healthy, although Valencia had a few spells of malaria infection. All the babies now sleep for much longer periods of time, except Alyssa, Valencia and Noah like to wake up around midnight. Valencia and Noah have a drink of water and then go back to sleep, but Alyssa thinks it's play time. She's gotten into the routine of snuggling with Mom before going back to sleep. It seems she's just figured out a good way to get alone time with Mom - smart girl! Bibiana sleeps all night without waking at midnight with the others.

Here are the quadruplets with big sister Chavela. She plays with the babies constantly. She is doing very well in school and will start first grade this fall. Dad is busy with work and church activities, since he was appointed as a deacon. He enjoys sharing his spirit and his family's story with a growing congregation. He is looking forward to hopefully taking his annual leave in July to spend time with his family and plan the kids' birthdays - Chavela early in the month and the quadruplets at the end of the month. Mom is well but having some pain issues with her legs. Both Mom and Dad covet prayers for health, strength and energy!

March Update

Sweet Chavela has been so good to her little sisters and brother. She's always anxious to get home from school to see how they are doing.

Mom is doing great and looking good!

Here's the latest news from Mom:

It's a lot of work, but fun to take the babies picture - clapping, talking, look up, snapping fingers, singing, dancing just to get their attention. Alyssa is crawling, but backwards instead of forwards and very fast! Valencia rolls over both directions very well and also fast! Noah is not interested in crawling because he's just always interested in food. Anything worth eating is okay by him. Bibiana is interested and trying to crawl but hasn't done it yet. She's still the smallest among them. All four can eat, smile and hold things very well. Please keep Valencia in your prayers - she has not been as active lately as normal and appears to feel weak. She is seeing the doctor about this.
